It had been a long time since I had been slapped in the belly with so much soul. We shared wings, waffles, greens, and catfish. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Fried chicken better than my grandma’s (sorry, Mêmê). We’ll be back.

They had to close at the end of October due to a fire, and after months of pushing back the reopen date, they reopened this weekend according to their Facebook. Still closed on Mondays though so don’t try going there today.
